Jersey is a great place to explore on foot and there are many guides ready to impart their knowledge of the island, its heritage and customs.

A Taste of St Helier

10, 17, 24 & 31 October
A walk around Jersey’s capital, St Helier. Listen to how the town grew from a fisherman’s harbour to the major financial district it is today. 10.30am – 1pm, subject to booking. Cost: £12.50 per person.

A Taste of St Aubin

12, 19 & 26 October
A stroll around St Aubin, once Jersey’s commercial district. Find out about legends and some famous guests such as Karl Marx. 10.30am – 1pm, subject to booking. Cost: £12.50 per person.

Sea to Sea Cycle Tour

13, 20 & 27 October
A bike ride from the south to north coast discovering Jersey’s Green Lanes. 10.30am – 1pm, subject to booking. Cost: £15 per person.

A Taste of Gorey

A walk on the sea bed whilst the tide is out to discover bioluminescent bioluminescent creatures. 6 – 7.30pm (23rd), 8.15pm – midnight (28th), 9.30pm – midnight (26th). Cost: £15.50 adults, £17.50 children. Booking essential.

Full Moonwalk to Seymour Tower

12 November, 11 December
A walk discovering bioluminescent creatures from 8.15pm (12th) or 8.30pm (11th) until just after midnight. Cost: £19 adults. Booking essential – see details below.

The Oyster Trail

29 October, 4, 18 December
Walk amongst the oyster and mussel beds at The Royal Bay of Grouville followed by some tasty samples. 12 – 2pm (29th Oct), 2 – 4pm (4th Dec), 3 – 5pm (18th Dec). Adults £15.50, children £6.50.

Go on a marine exploration walk and discover the seabed which is usually covered by some of the highest tides in the world. 11.45am – 2.45pm (16th), 12.45 – 3.45pm (17th). Adults £15, children £7.50.

Seabed walk to the end of Jersey

17 October & 16 November
Walk around 2 miles out on the seabed whilst the tide is out and discover the lunar-like landscape. Adults £17, children £8.50
