A Jurassic Adventure Awaits

Tamba Park

Looking for a ROAR-some adventure this summer whilst in Jersey. Well look no further than Tamba Park.

Tamba Park is a new visitor attraction in St Lawrence in what used to be the Lion Park (until 2013). Tamba Park is a new attraction that offers indoor and outdoor play areas, mini boats which you pilot across their lake, a remote control boating pond, fish feeding area and also a picturesque sculpture garden.

The highlight of the park is their ‘Dino Trail’, which is a beautiful walk around their lush green gardens and getting up close and personal with some friendly and not so friendly dinosaurs. These animatronic marvels come in all shapes and sizes from the Pterodactyl, Triceratops, Raptors, and of course the colossal Tyrannosaurus Rex. Look out also for the terrifying Spinosarus as it lurks around the grounds.

Also on site is a display of majestic ‘Birds of Prey’ in their aviaries with a resident falconer on hand to answer your questions about these stunning birds.

Admission varies to about £5 per person which gives you full access to the attraction. Plus all profits from Tamba Park go to Ruff’s Kitchen’s which is a charity that supports children in Zimbabwe. Ruff’s Kitchens to date has set up 7 kitchens in schools across the country. Each child within these schools receives a nutritious porridge based meal packed with vitamins, which the children love. As a result of this, the schools in which Ruff’s Kitchens are operating have seen a rise in attendance and are reporting that the children are learning and developing more. This is all down to one simple meal each day.

So if your in Jersey this summer check out this whole new attraction for yourself as not only will you have a great time yourself, your will be supporting a great cause.
