Festivals galore!

A walking festival, air display, music festival and a festival of words are combined with mountain biking, hiking, moto x and sailing events this September in Jersey.

9 September

Battle of Britain concert
Free concert in Howard Davies Park 7.45 – 8.45pm.

10 September

International Air Display
12pm until 5pm approx over St Aubin’s Harbour.

12 – 27 September

Autumn Walking Festival
Annual walking festival with a variety of guided and themed walks all around the island.

12 September

Steam Threshing & Motor Fair at the Pallot Museum
10am – 5pm. Adults £6 and children £2.

12 – 13 September

Spice Art & Music Festival
Art and music with local crafts and producers. 10am – 7pm on 12 September and 10am – 6pm on 13 September. Free entry.

Tour de Bretagne cyclists

12 & 13 September

Inter Insular Downhill Mountain Bike Race
Team mountain biking event, 9am – 2pm each day. Open to entrants.

Take a tour of historic St Ouen’s Manor 10.30am – 12.30pm. Adults £12.

The Great North Coast Charity Challenge

JCR Annual Cycle Ride 2015
Raising money for Jersey Cancer Relief, take a bike ride around the island or stya track based. Children’s face painting and activities will also take place. 8.30am for cycle race, 10am for children’s event.

Jersey Architecture Biennale (JAB15)
Free events celebrating Jersey’s architecture. Awards, talks, tours and a gala dinner (payable).

Summer Beer Festival
Plenty of favourite and new beers to sample at this CAMRA festival in St Helier.

Downhill and endurance mountain biking organised by The Channel Islands Mountain Biking Association. Adults £10.

The Healthy Living and Design Festival

  • 19 September – Heavy Machine-Gun Turret Bunker at Val de Mer, 2.30 – 5.30pm. Free entry.
  • 20 September – Coastal Defence Gun Casemate at La Corbière Point with photographic display and exhibits including an original gun. 11am – 2pm. Entry £3.
  • 20 September – Underground Command Bunker & Coastal Artillery Observation Tower at Noirmont Point, 11am – 4.30pm. Entry £3.
  • 20 September – M-19 Fortress Mortar Bunker, Heavy Machine-Gun Bunker & 10.5cm Coastal Gun Defence Casemate at La Corbière Point, St. Brelade, 11am – 2pm. Entry £3.
