Chocks away, it’s Jersey Air Display!

Jersey Air Display - The Red Arrows BOF

It’s that time of year again in Jersey where the skies are filled with the roar of jet engines, and we witness ace pilots attempt death defying manoeuvers. That’s right, it’s time for the annual Jersey Air Display.

On the 12th of September Jersey plays host to the internationally renowned FREE air show (which can also be seen from Guernsey), best viewed from St Aubin’s Bay on the south coast of the island.

The show features many incredible aircraft, new and old from Ireland, France, The Netherlands, Russia, the United States of America and the UK. Then climaxing to the finale, the legendary Red Arrows performing their exhilarating, edge of the seat manoeuvers, watched and adored by young and old alike!

As well as the Air Show itself there are also static displays of some of the jets and helicopters featured in the Show and some which are in service overseas. They can either be viewed at Jersey Airport or down at Peoples Park, but there may be a small admission fee to view these.

Jersey Air display is always an amazing day out for all plus the added fact that it’s free to attend is a huge bonus although donations to military charities are always welcome.  This is certainly an event not to be missed!
