St Helier Hotels Come Up Trumps

shakespeare-6We know we are biased as after all, 30 years of selling holidays to the Channel Islands does mean that we all love the place. But today there was a tripadvisor email reviewing dozens of hotels in the St Helier area and there were some great independent reviews from clients who have been, enjoyed and shared their experience. Whether you are looking for a best value category, family holiday, business trip, luxury, romantic or on the beach, there was a hotel to suit everyone.

Here are a few examples – the Pomme d’Or was “a gem” and “excellent location” and another nearby hotel, the Royal Yacht, was “a buzzing place”, The Club & Spa was rated as being a great place for “a fantastic break” and another 4 star hotel, De France, was “a great spa with fantastic staff.”

You don’t need to dream up advertising when Jersey visitors are saying it themselves!

If your budget only runs to 3 star hotels then the Marina Metro right on the sea front on Havre des Pas was highly recommended,  the Revere has “superb food”, the Mayfair and Metropole were “good family hotels”, the Monterey gave “a warm welcome from the excellent staff”.  All the reviews stressed the friendliness of the hotels in Jersey, with great food too.  And don’t think you have to spend a fortune, there were some lovely reviews of 2 star hotels, the Stafford “can’t fault it”, the Runnymede Court hotel “excellent all-round hotel” and the Norfolk hotel was “well run and outstanding.”

Don’t take our word for it, why not come and see for yourselves?  In the current economic climate there are some great bargains to be had this season and if you stay in the St Helier area then you don’t need a hire car unless you want that extra independence. Our local representatives are available to offer advice on excursions, or there’s a great bus service round the island. Alternatively why not hire a bike as the cycle paths are well signposted?
