Superman lived in Jersey

Is it a plane, or is it a bird?  No, it’s “Superman”!   We were delighted to make a surprising discovery with Superman’s link to Jersey in the Channel Islands.  Scheduled for release in 2013, “Man of Steel” is the latest adaptation of Superman, directed by Zach Snyder (300, Watchmen) and produced by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy) but promises to be bigger and better.

The exciting news is that the lead is played by no other than Jersey’s own Henry Cavill.  Born and raised in Jersey before moving to the mainland for school, Henry’s roots are firmly in Jersey.

Unfortunately not much has been released about “Man of Steel” apart from its link to the original story where Superman is transported from the Dying Planet “Krypton” to Earth.  Here Martha and Jonathan Kent discover the young child and adopt him as one of their own.  Due to his secret powers Clark (Superman) feels isolated from humanity until he is needed and dons the blue Spandex and red cape and becomes everyone’s favourite hero!
