This small luxury country house was originally built in the 1800s as a gracious private home nestled against the wooded valley of Rozel on the north east coast. Completely refurbished with an oak-panelled dining room, fireplace, spacious Rocco lounge with intricate French scrollwork and a conservatory, this hotel is full of character with excellent views of the gardens and valley below.

The extensive gardens of the hotel cover more than 8 acres and were created by a famous botanist and director of Kew Gardens to take advantage of the Mediterranean climate stretching down through winding paths to the fishing village of Rozel.

The hotel restaurant is open for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with a blend of French and English cuisine specialising in the local seafood and seasonal game complemented by their extensive wine cellar.
